Our Program and Our Clients
The Catholic Charities IEC Children’s Home is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility – fostering the social growth and development of up to 36 children with high behavioral and psychiatric needs. This type of level of care is new to Michigan, and there will be 24/7 staff overseeing clients’ treatment and care.
Youth served in this setting have the primary diagnosis of Serious Emotional Disturbances and will gain stability in their behavioral health through a multi-disciplinary approach so that they may return to their communities with continued behavior health treatment.
Clients will be doing online schooling and credits will transfer to whichever school the children attend after.
